Mural celebrating the residents of Kamloops and its unique landscape and nature. As well as the Kamloops Farmers Market, which takes place adjacent to the wall and is a pillar in the Kamloops community. In partnership with Kamloops Sqaure and the Downtown Kamloops Public Realm Fund.

Community Paint Day

We organised a community paint day where any one could come and make their mark on the mural. I designed the section of the wall that was accessible without a ladder to be a large hedge and the public filled it in with flowers, stars, cats, bees and butterfly. We had an amazing turn out and folks were so happy to be a part of the process!

Centre of Excellence in Youth Mental Health

I worked closely with the Centre of Excellence in Youth Mental Health including a design consultation with the youth council members to come up with a concept that felt true to the centre. Empathy, resilience, empowerment, courage and diversity were key words that came up in the discussion, as well as the idea of windows into people's lives. The concept explores small daily acts that represent the themese we discussed. The youth council members also helped paint the mural that is installed in the centres new office.

Journal in Jubilee

In collaboration with Aryze Development for the state-of-the-art bike room at Journal in Jubilee. The mural is inspired by the dynmaic, mixed-use neighbourhood, active transportation, and the plants and creatures that add to Jubilee's charm, including bee hives on the buildings rooftop terrace!

KWENCH
Co-working Space

As part of an artist residency at KWENCH Co-working & Culture Club, I was given the opportunity to paint a mural in the lobby of their studio space. I also painted a desk in collaboration with TedX Victoria and Royal Roads as an installation piece where folks could write a letter to their future self on a typewriter.

825 Fort St

Banner

Partnership with Downtown Victoria Association and The Salient Group to create a banner which will beautify a large construction site. Highlighting the small businesses that line the Fort St blocks.

Mural Festival

I was invited by Vancouver Mural Festival to paint a mural along the Riverside trail in West Vancouver. The theme was portraiture and an interpretation of familiar faces. My playful interpretation shows a photobooth film strip of a person and their pet dog. A pet is a companion you see every day, they often make a person feel safe, happy and loved.

Part of an artist residency with Drug Checking Victoria. "We Keep Us Safe", an important message particularly for users of Drug Checking Victoria and within the community. The image shows a diverse group of people strutting together, holding each other up, keeping each other strong.

Mural for Downtown Victoria Business Association. To celebrate Victorias bustling and vibrant downtown core. This detailed piece has many elements unique to Victoria, including well-loved establishments and architecture, colourful Paperbox buildings on Johnson St,ferry taxis in the Harbour, arts & craft markets at Market Square, and Cherry Blossom trees that take over Victoria in early Spring.
